How to Create a Proposal
A clear proposal explains the recommended work, presents the available options and pricing, and gives the customer the information needed to review the proposed solution.
- 1. Add your business details and credentials. Include your logo, business name, contact information, and relevant license or insurance details where applicable.
- 2. Add the customer and job details. Enter the customer or company name, contact information, and the address where the work will be completed.
- 3. Describe the recommended solution. Explain what you found, the work you recommend, and what the proposed solution includes.
- 4. Present the service options. Organize your Good, Better, and Best options with clear details on the scope, features, and pricing for each.
- 5. Add financing and incentives. If you offer financing, include the relevant payment information and terms. Add any applicable rebates or incentives the customer may be eligible for.
- 6. Add terms and acceptance details. Clearly state what is included or excluded, applicable warranties, payment or deposit terms, and any other important conditions. Include an acceptance section for the customer’s name, signature, and date when needed.
